I have arrived at the end of my journey in Boston...well Somerville to be exact. I still haven't even made it into downtown Boston after arriving on the 28th, but that is shortly to be rectified. Currently I am busying myself with all of the delightful vulnerability that goes with job hunting. I have successfully concentrated the past several years of my education and working life into a single passable page, and I've been doling it out to any restaurant that seems lovely to work in. I had applied to the Ritz here in Boston, but shortly after doing so I received an email saying that they had gotten rid of the position. Everything else they have open would be quite the underemployment, and I'm not that desperate...yet.
I am currently staying with extended family that have welcomed me with the most open of arms and kindest of hearts. I feel like a son and a brother, and that's making this transition much more palatable. Now that I am stationary with some time on my hands and wifi to play with I will finally post all of the stories and pictures from the rest of my journey. So sit back, relax, and enjoy the read!
